Companies Management is a comprehensive system developed for a general services office in Saudi Arabia to efficiently manage companies and clients. The system streamlines client and company management processes while providing detailed monthly and annual reports.

Purpose:

  • Client and Company Management: To simplify the process of handling clients and their associated companies.
  • Reporting: To generate accurate monthly and annual reports to track services and performance.
  • Service Expiry Notifications: To automate reminders for service renewals, preventing missed deadlines.

System Operations:

The system includes several key functionalities:

  • Add Clients and Companies: Store and manage client and company information.
  • Assign Services: Link services to specific companies.
  • Assign Clients and Employees to Companies: Manage company staff and client relationships.
  • Document Management: Upload and attach important documents to company and employee profiles.
  • Notification System: Automatically alert companies when a service is about to expire.

Key Feature – Notification System:

The notification system was a critical addition. Previously, the office often forgot to notify companies about upcoming service expirations, which caused delays and disruptions. With automated alerts, the system now ensures companies receive timely reminders, significantly improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Improved Efficiency: Streamlined the management of clients, companies, and services.
  • Automated Reporting: Enabled quick generation of monthly and annual reports.
  • Enhanced Client Service: Reduced missed service renewals with an effective notification system.
  • Document Organization: Centralized document storage for easy access and reference.

Lang Tour

Langtour is a Saudi Arabian agency that assists students in securing acceptance into English language institutions worldwide. Inspired by the success of the SAT for Studying Abroad platform, Langtour decided to launch a similar platform tailored to their brand and audience.

Purpose:

  • For Students: To simplify the process of applying to English language institutes around the world.
  • For Langtour: To leverage the proven success of the SAT platform while maintaining their unique brand identity and serving their student base effectively.

Changes Made:

  • Branding: Customized the platform with Langtour’s brand identity, including new colors, logos, and design elements.
  • Theme Customization: Modified the user interface to align with Langtour’s branding while maintaining the original platform’s functionality.
  • Localization: Adapted the platform’s content and services to better suit the needs of Langtour’s Saudi Arabian audience.

Achievements:

  • Successfully launched a fully branded platform for Langtour in a short time by replicating and customizing the proven SAT platform.
  • Provided Langtour with a scalable and efficient solution, enabling them to generate multiple student offers quickly and efficiently.
  • Enhanced Langtour’s ability to compete in the market by offering an easy-to-use platform for students seeking language institute placements.
  • Streamlined the application process, improving student satisfaction and increasing enrollment rates for Langtour.

The Prof Ahmed Hafez

The Prof Ahmed Hafez is an educational platform designed to help students book their preferred courses based on their school stage. The platform serves as a digital hub, connecting students with a wide range of educational resources tailored to their academic needs.

Purpose:

  • For Students: To simplify the process of discovering and booking courses based on their educational stage.
  • For Teachers: To expand their reach, enabling them to offer courses to students across Egypt, rather than being limited to their local city or region.

Challenges:

  • Scalability: Ensuring the platform could handle a large number of students from different regions simultaneously.
  • Course Organization: Developing a system to categorize courses by school stage, ensuring students could easily find suitable classes.

Achievements:

  • Successfully expanded the teacher’s reach from a local to a national level, making courses accessible to students across Egypt.
  • Developed a user-friendly platform, enabling students to easily search for and book courses based on their school stage.
  • Increased student enrollment and engagement, boosting the teacher’s visibility and impact within the educational community.
  • Provided a scalable solution, capable of supporting a growing number of courses and students without performance issues.

Sat For studying abroad

Sat Group for Academic and Educational Consulting is a national agency, founded by a group of Saudi youth, that provides academic advisory services worldwide. The company operates key branches in Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom (Newcastle and York).

After developing the Classat website using the Laravel framework and the Sat Edu website using WordPress, the company decided to merge both platforms under a new name: Sat for Studying Abroad.

Purpose of the Platform

The primary goal of the new platform was to simplify the English course application process for students, aiming to become the leading platform for students to apply to language institutes worldwide.

Achievements

  • The platform became the easiest and most efficient tool in Saudi Arabia for enrolling in English institutes.
  • It significantly enhanced the company’s efficiency, enabling the generation of over 30 offers within just 5 minutes—a drastic improvement from the previous rate of one offer every 20 to 45 minutes.

My Role

I was fully responsible for creating and developing this platform from scratch, overseeing its growth and evolution over the past four years.

Challenges Faced

One of the most significant challenges during the platform’s development was implementing a robust course filtering system based on prices. This was complex due to several factors:

  • Dynamic Pricing Structure: Course prices varied depending on the number of weeks reserved, making it challenging to display accurate costs in real-time.
  • Institute Discounts: Each institute offered different discounts, which needed to be dynamically calculated and combined with course prices.
  • Complex Filtering Logic: The system had to process multiple variables simultaneously—such as course duration, institute discounts, and promotional offers—while ensuring that users could easily filter and compare courses.

How I Solved It:

  • Developed a dynamic pricing algorithm that recalculates course fees instantly based on selected weeks.
  • Integrated discount rules from each institute, ensuring that offers and promotions were accurately reflected in the final price.
  • Optimized the platform’s search and filtering capabilities, allowing students to easily sort courses by price, duration, and discounts in real time.

This solution not only enhanced the user experience but also positioned the platform as a highly efficient tool for students and academic advisors alike.

I was responsible for designing the project’s architecture and strategic plan. Over six months, I successfully led a team of developers, designers, and content writers, bringing this exceptional platform to life.
